In 1884, Henry Boyd Dunn & Co commenced business as ‘House, Land and Insurance Agents’ in Rea’s Building Royal Avenue and hence the roots of Douglas Huston were established. Today, the business benefits from extensive experience in both urban and rural property practice with an innovative approach.

Douglas N. Huston commenced business at a young age as an estate agent, surveyor and valuer in 1939 having trained with a firm in the city.  In 1967 his nephew Douglas joined the practice and became a partner in 1975. Subsequently, in 1995, the practice moved to Stranmillis and recently to the Malone Road. Key members of the property team have a cumulative experience of 80 years.
